I have been unable to download the 4.12 update over the past week. Having a look at the logs, it seems to be related to a timeout issue (Logs Attached). This seems to always be a problem whenever updating or downloading the engine and I would like to find a way to stop this from happening on my Australian internet (Seem to get a max of 280kb\s when downloading through the launcher ).
I am either met with “Could not download installation information. Please try again later. Code:0” or the launcher will say its downloading (with fluctuating download speeds) but over several hours it wont change the download percentage (stuck at 60%, 1.3gb remaining)
I have gone through the trouble shooting steps mentioned on Troubleshooting Launcher Problems page however I have had no success. I have also changed the timeout time in the defaultengine.ini (up to 20000)(\Launcher\Engine\Programs\NoRedist\UnrealEngineLauncher\Config) but this doesn’t seem to help.
