4.12 Mouse movement issue on UE4Editor

The movement of mouse pointer on UE4Editor becomes discrete. The pointer moves and stops from one to two frame of time while I am moving the mouse continuously. And I am not finding this issue on 4.11.

I am using a laptop Mac with external display which got different resolution from the laptop. ( laptop: 1600x1050(16:10), external display: 1920x1080(16:9) ). The screens are mirrored. If I open the lid of laptop, both screen will go to the same resolution at 16:9 (Screen is scaled and shrunk to fit on laptop) and the problem will be gone. If I close the lid, the problem occurs.

Note that the movement of mouse pointer is okay during playing a level on the editor.

Is there any setting to fix this issue?

My laptop Mac is running OS X 10.11.5.

After trying:

  1. Open UE4Editor and found mouse movement problem.
  2. Open the lid of laptop and the problem is gone.
  3. Close the lid. The problem doesn’t occur.
  4. Close UE4Editor.
  5. Reopen UE4Editor and there was no mouse movement problem at all.
  6. Restart the laptop.
  7. Open UE4Editor and found mouse movement problem again.
  8. Restart the laptop.
  9. Open the lid.
  10. Open UE4Editor and there was no mouse movement problem.

Every time my laptop restarts, I need to do step 2 and 3 to fix the issue temporarily.

Good news. This issue was gone on 4.13.0.
