Failed to find object 'Class None.'

Whenever I start the editor I get the warning:

LogUObjectGlobals:Warning: Failed to
find object ‘Class None.’

I tried to debug it and found the function and stack:

MaybeOpenWelcomeTutorial(); and going down to UObjectGlobals.cpp line 863.

Erm… Is this a bug or something? Because it seems the editor itself (not the game) is throwing a warning for it failing to find an object. It is not causing any problems. Just an annoying warning every time in my log.

The last I saw about this annoyance, is that it was pretty low priority to fix, as well as a couple of others about GameSession creating scene components but none were set as root.

Act like it’s not there, and it goes away… lol

Best workaround ever

Hello,

This issue is in our database as UE-5528; however, there is currently no timeline for when a fix will be released. At this time, it does not seem to be having an effect on projects, but if you notice that it causes any issues, please report them on this post so I can update the report.

Otherwise, as JayIce said, just pay it no mind for the time being as it has not been known to cause any problems.

Have a great day

This BUG still exist in UE 4.12.5

still existing in 4.14.
and now I’m also getting a “failed to find object none.none” after switching from 4.13 to 4.14.
is this related to the class.none thing? did’t have those object none.none in 4.13 only the class.none.
now I get booth of those.
are they related?
