Crash to desktop: adding BP interface to BP that has an invalid action event.

Hi - I just noticed that if I remove action-jump from the project inputs settings, without removing the call for that action event in blueprintX, then the game will crash if I attempt to add a blueprint interface in the details panel for blueprintX.

This is the callstack from a report I just sent related to this.

It’s still occuring, but all I am doing now is seeing it crash about 30-50% of the time upon either hitting compile for a blueprint or hitting the Play button - sometimes after not even modifying any blueprint content.

Would it be valuable to send you guys a video of what I’m doing? Could I just send you the project zipped up?

Anything you have to help us figure out this crash will be beneficial. There have been multiple users having this bug and so far we have been unsuccessful to recreate the crash.

I’m not sure what you would see of worth in a video, a lot of times it’s just business as usual, open the build, modify a few components in a blueprint, hit save compile then play. It’s usually the second time I go to hit play or sometimes compile it just straight crashes. That being said, where can I up the project files to?

Could you send us your DXdiag and log files? It would make it possible for us to see what is happening. Also, If it is just one particular asset that is crashing the editor, could you share that one asset with us?

I can, I think there’s 3 blueprints that are possibly causing this, I will send them along. Where can I send all of this to?

and just fyi, this is for the rolling blueprint template project - the physicsBallBP uses the ball asset. Let me know if you need any more info.

There were many bugs that have been fixed in the 4.2 update and wanted to see if your issue has been resolved.
