Can you make a blueprint from selected meshes in the world?

Hey Hyperloop,

In the editor. Go to the Scene Outliner and select your objects you want in the Blueprint. Then look for the Details tab below it, scrow down to Blueprint, then click Replace With Composited Blueprint.

Peace

I know you can spawn a new BP from an item selected in the content browser, but what if I have a bunch of objects in the world that I want to turn into a blueprint?

Hi - where is this option? I can’t seem to find it in the Details tab.

This option is not in the details panel. First you want to select the meshes you want to convert in the world outliner, then click on the Blueprints button in the toolbar and select ‘Convert Selected Components to Blueprint class’.

I am looking for this too and cannot find it - I need it!

Found it! It’s actually like this… Select your static meshes in the level, and go to the “Blueprint” drop down on the menu bar - and choose “Convert Selected Components to Blueprint Class”

Hope this helps!
