Lighting on play gets brighter

Good Day,

I have a problem with our current status.

When using the default game-mode of unreal in our game, everything is fine and the way it should be. However,
when using the game-mode we made and we play in any view mode our lights get intensified by 100000 giving a scene which is obviously to light.
our lights are set to static.
anyone have an idea as to how we might fix this?

Solutions already tried that did not work:
Post-processing,
Lightmass,
Rendering settings in both unreal settings and project settings,
Autofocus turned on or off,
turn lights to dynamic,
try using very low values for lights (this should not be necessary),
check if first person was using any post processing,
reset all settings of both world and project settings,
reset all settings to default in gamemode,
remove skysphere,
search for hidden lights.

Creating a new level with the same gamemode does not give the same problem, however, no clue as to why.

Hoping somebody can shed some light on the problem!
