Color banding with directional lights

See image. The project was brought in from 4.10, which diddn’t have this bug. This only affects directional lights in my project. It doesn’t matter if they’re set to static/ moveable etc…

The lighting needs to remain dynamic, however building doesn’t seem to make any difference.

Everything in scalability is set to epic.

This is happening for me too since upgrading to 4.12. Awful banding.

Ok, this only happens when developing on Mac, it was caused by the AA set to FXAA, setting to temporal removes this.
