UE4 install failed with code MD-0005

After hours of headache, I finally manage to install the epic launcher. Now I’m trying to download UE4 and Its failing everytime with the error code MD-005. I’ve tried to find help on help.epicgames.com, but there is nothing there about this error code. Please help.

I found a solution in a forum, hope this will help.
First remove the ue4 version from the launcher, then close it,open task manager under process tab kill “explorer.exe”.Restart your system and try install it again.it worked for me.

cant resume unreal 4.12.3, tried restart system, tried reinstalling launcher and reinstalling engine, but i got struck somewhere. it is very difficult to continue with the unreal, please distribute a single copy of installation file so that user has to pay attention on his project not the bugs generated by the application. it is very disappointment.

For some reason, this worked for me, Thanks.

I am totally disappointed with the error md-0005… this error comes every time I resume my ark dev kit download plz help

Its easy. I had this problem with Fortnite. Change the file location from under epic games to desktop and it will download. I have no idea what is causing this issue.
