Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hi polemos,

The following error was found in your log:

 UnrealBuildTool: Visual C++ 2015 toolchain does not appear to be correctly installed. Please verify that "Common Tools for Visual C++ 2015" was selected when installing Visual Studio 2015. 

Run the VS2015 installer again it should prompt you to either "Repair" "Modify" or "Uninstall". Select Modify and in the next screen find Common Tools near the bottom of the list. Check this box and continue through the modify process. Once this finishes you should be able to create projects normally.

I did those steps and it still gives me that same error...I am using VS 2015 Community does that matter? should I do a complete reinstall?

You may want to try that, but are you sure that same error is in the log? That may have been just one issue, there may have been others... Check to see if your getting the same error I posted from the log above and if so, try a complete reinstall; It does not matter if you're using VS 2015 Community.

If you do not see the C++ error specifically, post the new package log.
