Landscape - Editor Crash

Hey,

I currently have got a problem working with Landscapes in 4.12.2. I can create a Landscape Sculpt it, Paint it, no Problems. But when I try to Change Component Size, Move the Landscape or even try to delete it. the whole Editor crashes in an instant. I can’t do anything about it just a straight up crash.
BUT when I remove my Landscape Material first I can change, delete and move the Landscape.
Here you can take a look at the Material which seems to be causing the crash although it worked previously.

I just attempted to reproduce the crash you are reporting on my end, but was unable to get the crash to occur.

Could you provide me with your ‘dxdiag’ as well as your crash logs from the crash you are reporting?

Would you also mind testing this in a new project using a similar set up to the one you provided to see if it this issue is isolated to your project, or if it is universal?

I have tested it on a newly generated Projekt with the same results. Here is the DxDiag and the Crash.log. I can’t upload the DMP File here, do you also need it?

I was able to get the crash to occur after testing a little bit further. I have entered a bug for the issue, UE-32113. I was able to narrow down the cause of the issue to be related to the ‘Landscape Grass Output’ node being used in the material editor. For now, I would leave that disconnected and try and use a different foliage application tool, until this issue is fixed.

Once the issue has been addressed by our engineers, the fix will be added to the release notes for fixed issues within an upcoming full engine or hotfix release.
