Lightmass not streaming mipmaps correctly

Hello,

I’m having some problems in a VR archviz project, where the lightmaps from lightmass generation seems hung up in the lowest quality LOD/MIP level, even when viewed up close.

If i move the camera pretty far out and arround, and then come back again It will some times be able to load the correct quality, but some times I have to mess arround quite a bit before it loads correctly. the following picture shows the correct high quality lightmap.

Is this a known issue ? and are there any workarrounds ?

Edit:
After further inspection, it appears that the problem only persists when “Compress Lightmaps” is disabled.
Compressed lightmaps don’t look very good on plain white walls though.

I’ve got the same problem. You can work around this by disabling mip maps on all lightmaps in the world settings, but having about 70 maps, it can get quite tedious.

who solved this?

I found solution for my case - I turn on again compression lightmaps.

Hi!

…is it not a streaming pool problem? …it looks like that… Setting it higher won’t solve your problem?
