(Perforce) Asset won't save because read only

Engine version: 4.9.0

Version Control: Perforce

OS: Win7 64 bit

I can not save and submit a map because it is read only - even though the content browser shows that the map is checked out. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to the actual file, right click, properties, turn off read only and click apply, profit.
