Sequencer snap value affects play rate

Hello!

I’ve just ran into this with sequencer in 4.12.2(project converted from 4.11.) Time snapping interval value affects the play rate of the sequence both in editor and packaged game. It is not noticable if you set it to FPS but the playing animation updates at the set value if you choose seconds or miliseconds. I’m not sure if this is intended or not but it confused me pretty bad when it happened.

Yes, that’s correct. But it is toggleable.

When the snap value is a frame rate (fps) and Force Fixed Frame Interval Playback is toggled on (by default), the frame rate when playing back the sequence is locked to the snap value. You can disable this if you toggle off Force Fixed Frame Interval Playback. One of the primary reasons for this toggle is to ensure what you see in editor is what you get when you render out individual frames with the render movie dialog.
