A level that i created cannot be found when opening it in unreal engine but when i check the folder that the project is saved in i see the level that i am trying to open. Please help

As you can see from the two pictures above, level 1 is visible in the folder but in unreal engine it is nowhere to be seen.

Hello,

  • What version of the editor did you create the project in?
  • Did you ever move the project to a different version?
  • Does this occur if you create a new map in the project?
  • Have you tried migrating the map to a different project and seeing if you can open it there?

I used the 4.9 Version of the engine and thanks for the suggestions, i will try them now.

I tried opening the level in another project but it still not there

It’s possible that the map was corrupted. If you go into your project’s Saved->Backup folder, do you have an older version of your map in there? You can try to move this file into the content folder and see if you are able to access the map again.
