Launcher stuck on "Please wait"

This issue has appeared many times in this answerhub but none of them fixed this for me.

It looks like this:

I found out that it somehow is using all my download speed(240 kilobyte/s is all I have), but I can’t figure out what it is doing with it, it already updated before I opened it.

The things I tried:

  • Running as administrator
  • Disabling firewall
  • Disabling antivirus

None of those things worked.

When I just finished typing the question it opened, apparently it was downloading an update but it wasn’t showing the progress.

A request of the UE4 team, can you add a progress bar to this so I know when it is downloading/installing stuff?
