The icons that describe if a variable/method is Public/Private/Static/etc are broken in the API documentation. Take a look here for example.
Bump. Please, Epic. Fix it. I believe it was some accidental deletion on your servers or something like that. But it’s really annoying.
Think I’ll chime in and say I have the exact same issue. It looks like this http://i.imgur.com/gJttiv8.png
I’ve resorted to mostly reading the Engine’s source code for documentation now. Since some of those covers relevant info.
That’s exactly the problem. It may be a quick fix but I’m afraid they just didn’t realize it’s happening yet. Meanwhile, it’ll be odd for everyone and, as you said, the source is awesome for learning! These days I learned how to render UMG to textures by sniffing at UWidgetComponent source. Epic’s decision of making it public was the greatest!
Still broken here… this is really weird, it passes a really bad impression. I mean, it’s the oficial documentation! Also, it’s impossible to read using Chrome (becomes better if using Edge, though).
Hi everyone,
Thank you for your report. I have reproduced the error on my end and have entered a bug report, UEDOC-3099, to be assessed by the development staff.
Hey! It’s solved and it also seems to have new icons. It’s even better now! Thanks!
It’s broken again…
Indeed. , we have a problem. XD
Hi everyone,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are aware of the break and currently working on a fix.
