Riddle me this

I created a character in Blender, I then uploaded to Mixamo to get an auto rig, I then retargeted in UE4, but all of the ROOT animations look sloppy and don’t work. The inplace animations look ok. However, when I create a character in Fuse and do the same process, everything is just fine>?? any suggestions on how fix this? thanks.

Ok if anyone is reading, i think i found a solution. All you have to do is upload your blender character to mixamo and then import the autorigged mesh back into blender. In blender you will have to manually add a root bone. very easy, reply if you need help. What you do is click on the bone mesh, add a new bone on the hip bone. rotate y-axis by 180 and thats it. upload that from blender to ue4 and root motion should work when trying to retarget. the next time someone reads this it will be 2017 haha. hello to the future. :slight_smile:
