Hierarchical Instanced Static Mesh Crashes Game

I found on a project that I was making in 4.12.3 that if you get an actor with a Hierarchical Instanced Static Mesh component then use the play in editor setting it completely crashes the editor.

I used a normal Instanced Static Mesh component instead which seems to work fine but someone should check that it isn’t just me experiencing this.

Could you please post the crash from the log file? It will be in your Project\Saved\Logs folder. If you’re able to send your project which is crashing, that would also be very helpful.

We fixed at least one crash for Hierarchical Instanced Static Mesh components in the 4.12 hotfixes, but I wasn’t not aware of any others.
