Using landscape height to make different ground levels
Hello, I really don't know how to name this, but I would like to use landscapes to create my level. Here is what I would like to do : http://puu.sh/pHO4S/670417ee1e.jpg I use a landscape to do this, with a brush without falloff. I try to flat the ground to make different level, but I can't make clean differences, here is what happens : http://puu.sh/pHPJU/8b12055033.jpg So as you can see, the angle is not 90°, and I can't make my level the way I want it. Can someone help me or give me another way to do it, without using meshes to make the ground ? Thanks !

to make nice vertical cliffs, you should place static meshes into any steep areas of the terrain. the terrain tools are based on height maps, and they cannot have perfectly vertical slopes for the same reason they cannot have caves: they are height map based, not voxels.
