I have been trying to use unreal engine for a while now, but with every iteration I get the same terrible performance while using the engine. I constantly get your frames per second has dropped below 10fps. Not to sure why as my computer is more than capable, Specs are i7 3770k @4.4Ghz 16Gb DDR3 Corsair Vengeance RAM GTX980Ti, it seams to me the engine isn’t using my gpu or cpu as my clock speeds for my GPU stay at 135mhz and my CPU hardly has any load put on it. Now is there away to force the engine to use my GPU and CPU more ? This would help me a lot as I am trying to run through the Third Person Game Tutorial so its not like I am running a lot of assets or blueprints. I have had a look through the nvidia control panel and I cant find the engine anywhere in the program section to force it to use maximum power mode only the launcher.
As I said this would be a great help to a newbie trying to learn how to make games, I can cope with the stuttering and hitching but would love for it to be more smoother.
