How do I change my email and/or Display Name on UE.com?

I can see that I can update my phone number, but I can’t change my email address or display name. I’d like to change my display name because with the new UT game coming out I’d rather use the name people might recognize me by.

You will need to contact the admins to get that changed.
There is a “Contact Us” link that shows up when you are logged in.

What website does the “Contact Us” link show up on? I don’t see it here in the Answers subdomain, or on the forums, or on the main website.

Got a resolution as per instructions via private message from TheJamsh (Forum Moderator):

Re: E-Mail Change

Hi again Gideon,

Apparently the recommended action according to the other mods is to send an e-mail to accounts@unrealengine.com. Hopefully they can sort it for you!

Cheers!

Your Epic display name is used across all their products

  1. You can contact accounts@unrealengine.com with your request (as mentioned).

  2. (I prefer this method) You can go to the following link and submit the form on there: http://help.epicgames.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2313876-how-do-i-change-my-display-name-?b_id=9727

Note: If the above link does not work -Goto https://www.epicgames.com/ and search for help - you may need some patience with that. I found it under About Epic > FAQ, and then you’ll find links in there. You can go here: http://help.epicgames.com/ as a shortcut. (Note that I’m giving all these links because you will submit your details on that form, and you may want to make sure you get to the right place to avoid the theft of your info / hackers.) -Search the support centre for ‘How do I change my display name?’ or ‘display name’. You can try this link to get to the form should it still work: http://help.epicgames.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2313876-how-do-i-change-my-display-name-?b_id=9727

-Submit the form

-Wait for their email and follow their instructions.

Note that you can only change your user name once every 6 months (at time of writing - this could change in the future, or not) I recommend that you use your actual name, or your nickname. This way, people know who they are talking to.

Thanks and good luck.
