Reproduction Steps With Problem Description
If I follow the instructions in the material tutorial video here:
Once you get to the part about creating Dynamic Material Variable, when I type the name Dynamic Material to name the variable and press Enter key, it automatically makes the second character in word dynamic DYnamic instead of Dynamic.

I was unable to reproduce your issue here, have you tried reproducing it in another level or a new project?
I was able to reproduce the problem several times yesterday even after computer restart, I read your reply today and created a new level with the starter content, after that I followed the steps again and it worked no problem, I went back into the old level after that, and renamed the variable, and again no problem, I really don’t know what did it but I guess it’s one of those weird things.
I’ve ruled out keyboard issues, so since it’s working now guess I’ll consider this as solved.
