Unreal editor crashes during build of lighting

Hi,

We currently are creating an Unreal Tournament map for the MapCore contest ending the 2nd of july.

Our lighting settings and set up is pretty usual:

  • Two directionnal lights set to “Movable” (one main orange-ish light and one blue-ish counter)
    and… That’s it.

I tried to lower the lightmap resolution but could not find a way to make it work…

Regarding props, yes me used a fair amount of them but they are coming from other maps and the startercontent folders.

My specs (all drivers are up to date):

  • Windows 10 - 8GB RAM
  • NVIDIA FeForce GTX 960M / Intel HD Graphics 530
  • Intel Core i7 6700 HQ

So the crash was caused by our anti-virus software (avast) which was considering one of the compiling shaders process to be a virus and was corrupting the files as he made unreal editor crash.

We deactivated it and now everything is working fine.
