Game crashing on startup

Hello im new to unreal engine and just finished my first simple project. everything runs fine on preview but when i package the product and open it will start and inmediatly crash.

I tough there was something wrong with my project so i created a new one (First Person Blueprint) and packaged right away. still the same problem

Im attaching the log. I will really apreciate any input you guys can give me.

Thanks in advance for your help

After trying severl times to open the file it opened without re packaging or chaging anything. problem is sometimes it opens and sometimes it wont open. Also tried openign the package on a diferent computer and same result.

Im attaching the log for when it actually opened. the difference i can see is thatt the log when it crashes stops at some point and the other log continues.

Im really new to this plattaform so i have no clue if im doing something wrong. any advice will be greatly apreciated.

  • Are you getting a crash reporter window? If so could you please provide your Machine ID and ensure to hit Send & Close on the report?
  • Does this occur if you package and attempt to open a blank project?
  • Could you please provide your dxdiag?

Hi Sean. Nope im not getting the crash report just black screen and closes. I detected the problem and we are actually discussing it in another thread since im not the only one having this issue. Its only when Oculus rift is connected. If i disconect it. the projects runs without problems. Also tryed with a new blank project same issue. ill send you the dxdiag. the link to the thread where others ara having this issue is:
