I was wondering i am dying to have unreal engine 4 but i am not an adult so i’m asking will unreal engine 4 ever be free , will it be available without subscription and if not can you please make it? If you are not going to Why on earth did you even make unreal engine 3 to be free? That’s it no offense just answer please.
Unreal Engine 3 was never free. UDK was free, which is not the whole engine. In fact, you didnt get the Source Code back then, which you do now. I won’t expect it ever to be fully free. However, the amount of money you need to invest to get such a great tool in your hands, is almost neglectable.
Since you are not an adult, the only thing you could do would be to ask your parents. It is not that much of money and you can cancel your subscription anytime.

Unreal 3 was never free. UDK was, which isn’t quite the same.
Unreal Engine 3 can cost roughly $500,000 and comes with access to C++ source code etc (as does Unreal 4) - whilst UDK was has no source code access at all and relies on Unrealscript.
If you wanted to release your game in UDK, there was an upfront fee of $99 + 25% royalties on sales.
You can pay $20 per month + 5% royalties on sale for Unreal 4. You cancel your subscription at any time and continue using the engine if you are hard up for money or are not earning (as you say, you are not an adult.)
