Launcher crashes immediately after login

I’ve downloaded the Epic Games Launcher in order to install the Unreal Game Engine.
After logging into the Launcher, it disappears and the Crash reporter appears.

I’ve added -debuglogging to the shortcut for the Epic Games Launcher, and ran it as Admin.

I’ve also uninstalled the Visual 2013 C++ redistribution and other years of the same, and restarted the computer.

I’ve tried running in compatibility mode, but it doesn’t help.

Looking at the log files, the first error mentioned is: ‘A file access error has occurred. Please check your running processes.’

I have the log files zipped up, but don’t see a place to add them to this post…

Here are the first few errors:

[2016.07.01-02.44.12:812][ 0]LogTextLocalizationManager: No specific translations for ('en-US') exist, so ('en') translations will be used.

Any and all help would be appreciated, as I have a client who’s asked me to do a project within the Unreal Game Engine and I cannot start it, since I haven’t succeeded in installing the game engine.

Thanks!

Additionally: I’ve already emailed support, about 24 hours ago, but no response yet. Thanks for any advice.
