Download of Engine doesn't go ahead of "please wait"

I downloaded and installed the epic launcher.
After signing in I went into library and clicked on install Unreal.
At first it didn’t go any forward than “Please wait”.
I searched in the forums and found out that I needed to add a few lines in the DefaultEngine.ini file.
I added the following lines:
[Portal.OSS]

EntitlementUpdateCheckTime=600

After doing that and clicking again on install, a new dialogue box showed what contents to download. After clicking ok,The download starts but remains at “Please Wait”.
