I want to delete/uninstall the engine, that I downloaded from github and build from source. I tried just deleting the folder, but it UnrealEngine\Engine\Saved\Config\Windows folder could not be deleted (access denied). I tried everything I came up with on Google, but there is no way I could delete that folder, so I recovered all the files I deleted. So what is the correct way to uninstall/delete the Engine?

It turns out, the correct uninstall method is deleting the entire folder (which failed in my case).
However I solved my problem by booting to Ubuntu from DVD and deleting everything from Ubuntu. Strangely the folder I did not have access to did not even appear in Ubuntu (even while showing hidden files). So I assume, I didn’t have access to the folder, because it didn’t exist anymore, but Windows didn’t recognize that.
