Softimage give me Problems with Models

Hello dear UE4 users,

I think, since Softimage is “dead”, the support and usage of that peace a software is rare - but I’ll try my luck since I switched to UE4 some time ago.

I use Softimage in production and we will still work some more time with it. But since it gets less and less supported, I thought about going into game engines, since the results I saw are stunning.

Anyway, my problem is, that even exporting softimage models, very simple ones, alsways tell me that my tangent bases are giving me problems with lighningt etc.

My models are absolutly clean, there is no cluster mess or something and in Softimage I have no problems.

Are there any Softimage users out there who would like to share the workflow from softimage to UE4?
I already read the 4 other topics :smiley: but thats more about animation.

Even just importing a simple cube gives me that error:
“Warning cube has degenerate tangent bases which will result in incorrect shading. MikkTSpace relies on tangent bases and may result in mesh corruption, consider disabling this option.”
