Why does the environment go very bright when I export the game?

Hello.

When I created my environement I used point lights to create a dark environement. However when I packaged the game and ran it, the environment was very bright and not as dark as it is when run in the viewport. It does the same thing when I run the game as a standalone game (before packaging). I am a novice when using Unreal 4, so please could you help me.

This looks like you need to adjust the ‘Auto-Exposure’ settings within your Post Process Volume. Since you are fairly new to UE4, I suggest taking a look at our documentation on Eye Adaptation to get a better understanding of how this feature works.
