Child BluePrints not saving mesh values

Hi people, my first post so please correct me if my post is out of line or anything of the like.

I am currently in the process of making a TPS, and I’m using a base character class as the parent to all 30(30!!!) playable characters.

Well now I’m at a halt because none of the meshes of the children will stay what the parent is or what I set them to individually even though I’m saving them, they all return to Mesh:none upon startup: which makes having playable characters kind of pointless.

Does anyone know if this is something that can actually be solved (I likely have at least 400 hours in it so far) or will I have to wait it out to be fixed in an update? And how could I fix it if its possible? Please and Thank you.

Nevermind, if I change the base character class to anything that the others aren’t set to, then it works fine

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  3. Could you provide screen shots of any blueprints that may be involved with this issue?
