Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Is there a Hotkey to apply a material to a certain side?

Hey Folks,

i crated walls in Maya and applied different Materias to each side of it. So i can apply different materials in UE4 to each of it, My problem is that by default i have 6 x "Basic Floor" for example. To find the right side i want the material on i have to "try and error drag and drop" onto the materials 0-5 Elements in den "Details" Tab on the right.

Is there a hotkey for that so i can look at a wall hit the hotkey and drag and drop on the correct side of a wall?

Thank you

There is Highlight tick box under every material slot. That should highlight the right parts of the object.
