It’s July 2016 and it’s been a while since the official commercial Oculus Rift and Vive VR products have been released and I really want to re-design my game for VR compatible gameplay (that is with two modes, one for VR and one for casual desktop) But The problem is that I cannot afford Vive or Oculus current selling VR products to develop for them.
But I see that there are some of those development kits that were distributed back before Facebook acquired the Oculus so I was wondering if those kits can still be used to develop for the currently selling VR headsets?
