Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Lighting building errors, how do I build lighting on one level only?

I am having lighting building problems as shown on: https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/157593/building-lighting-at-99-for-days-bug.html. I added significant detail to my terrain, and am wondering if that could be causing the problem. My computer also hangs for long periods of time when trying to build the lighting, and it asks if I want to close the lighting process to conserve memory (I select not to close it). One thing I noticed is that when you build the lighting, it apparently does it for all your levels. Is there any way I can just choose it to compile the lighting for my current level only?

Ok, so, apparently, you can build Geometry for your current level, but I don't believe that they have support for lighting in only one level.
