How to create this smoke effect?
Hi, I am trying to create a stylistic explosion. I am stuck at the last part where the smoke need to dissipate/fade from the center outwards.
I used a burst emitter with velocity to push the smoke away from the emitter. Thus the smoke that is farthest away from the emitter will die earlier. It gives impression as if the smoke is sucked back into the center of explosion.
On the contrary, I am trying to make the smoke dies from the center of the explosion. Does anyone have a suggestion?

you hand draw them in flash or similar software.

I would say it would be best for that to happen within your smoke/explosion texture - makes the most sense and easiest to implement!
