Epic Crashes Each Time Trying to Download ARK Dev Kit (Windows 7)

I am not so sure, if this epic “Game Launcher” is really so epic - EACH TIME I am starting to download the ARK Dev Kit, it crashes after the download has finally started. Quite some impressive software, this EGL.

I need to find out, if there is even a way to run the EGL without crashing. Is there? Or, if not, is there any direct download link that allows me to download the ARK Dev Kit directly, instead of not being able to download it with an always crashing EGL?

Here’s what this Crashing Game Launcher tells me upon each crash:

You do not have any debugging symbols required to display the callstack for this crash.

And seriously, since this software is not capable of downloading the ADK, I really need a direct download link. Thanks.
