Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

[Closed] Editor preferences should keep settings in new projects

Maybe I'm missing something but whenever I start a new project I have to turn on invert mouse panning, even though I set it as default. Shouldn't anything you set as default carry over to new projects? Otherwise those settings should be in the projects settings imo. Thanks.

nvm as soon as I posted this I saw this related post (even though I did try to search for similar questions...) https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/5486/saving-settings-globally.html

You can always load the same settings to another project with Import button.

Even if that's simple, that's still way more complicated than it needs to be. This should be default behavior.
