Unable to Package Project

Hello! I am a game developer and I have been working with the new experimental VR editor within Unreal Engine 4.12 which has been amazing. I am trying to package a gallery of work to Windows 64-bit, but each time it tells me the build has failed. The output log will follow, as I am not a programmer by any means. These errors often relate to an issue with the file name containing special characters. Could you try migrating your content to a project that is named without any special characters and see if you are still getting the same packaging errors?

So even though I migrated and changed the naming of the file (the original one had a period in it…no wonder it wasn’t working)! The errors it says now is that my textures for one of my static meshes aren’t in the files? They are definitely in the level because I can see the material working.

Yeah! I wasn’t surprised when I found out it was affecting the file, but I felt so silly cause it was something so small but incredibly important. Thank you for your quick responses. It won’t let me place the Build Log in this comment because it is too many characters. Is there another way to send the information?

If you go into your project’s Saved->Logs folder you should be able to find the text file that contains the output log and attach that to a comment.

It looks like the log may have gotten cut off at the end. Could you screenshot the last portion of your output log in the editor and see if it is getting cut off at the same point? Screenshot as much of it as you can fit on the screen with the window maximized, but start at the bottom of the log please. Thanks!

I actually already figured out what is wrong. A co worker looked at the error log for me and we decided that it was clearly an issue with one of the models. so we made a copy of the gallery and then removed any trace of it from all of the folders, thus an executable was born!!
