Physics of water

Hi guys, from the official manual, I created the water material, and I want to add to the physics of water, if specifically, the collision objects. For example, when an object falls into the water - spray and waves in stress place.
How do you do it in your projects? I mean special shader, use Houdini, something else.

Well, dont know, but I will keep the object position and maybe trace a ray from above so you can see where it hit the surface… and with this attach other actor that simulate the waves with particles and attach it to the surface of water or something like that.
