Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Collision detection doesn't always work

Hi I am working on a Pinball game. The problem i am having is for some reason my ball likes to randomly pass through objects (the walls, the flippers, etc.). In my physics setting I have CCD and sub-stepping turned on (been playing with sub-stepping's settings) and that didn't fix my issue entirely. The only thing is that might be the issue is that I am using a physics material to get the ball to act properly (seen in image below). I have no idea if the ball and or the flippers are moving to fast for the detection to work or if the material is making this happen?alt text Any and all advice is welcome. Thank you for your time.
