I'm not understanding how indirect lighting works

After reading the Unreal Docs I’m still not understanding how indirect lighting works. What is it exactly, how does it work, and what am I looking for when adjusting? I usually just leave it at 1.0 in the settings

After a little experimenting, I figured out that indirect light is the bouncing of lights. From the floors, walls, or ceiling.

The Lightmass Global Illumination documentation is a good start to look at as well. :slight_smile:
