it seems the editor crashes when using Color Over Life, then taking the Graph to the Curve Editor and finally reset Alpha Over Life. But manually selecting another Distribution won’t crash the Editor, only resetting by clicking the yellow arrow. <3

I was able to reproduce the issue on 4.12.5. However, after testing it internally the issue seems to have been resolved in a later version and the solution will be available in a later release. I hope that helps!
