Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Actor Hidden In Game for rendering

Been using this feature in 4.10 fine. The purpose is to use emissive cards to light levels. Repro:

  • Create a material with emissive material assign to a static mesh, place in scene.

  • "Use Emissive for Static Light" = True in details of static mesh

  • Under Rendering tab of a static mesh "Visible" = True

  • "Actor Hidden in Game" = True

  • Expected result is the emissive cards would be used to light the scene while hidden in game.

  • Bake lighting

  • Current results, the cards are invisible to the light build. If "Actor Hidden IN Game" = False, they will now contribute to lighting. alt text

I presume you want the shadow to be baked, but not have the mesh visible. For that, use "Cast Hidden Shadow" instead.
