Unable to Package UE4 project (4.12.5) with Oculus Platform SDK 1.6.0

After installing the unreal plugin from the Oculus Platform SDK 1.6.0 and adding in all the required settings as outlined in the readme file. Any project, including a blank one with no content is unable to be packaged. The resulting error is:

MainFrameActions: Packaging (Windows (64-bit)): UE4Editor-Cmd: [2016.07.22-20.30.09:865][  0]LogWindows:Error: === Critical error: ===
MainFrameActions: Packaging (Windows (64-bit)): UE4Editor-Cmd:
MainFrameActions: Packaging (Windows (64-bit)): UE4Editor-Cmd: Assertion failed: ModuleManager.IsModuleLoaded(ModuleName) [File:C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\4.12\Engine\Source\Runtime\Core\Public\Modules\ModuleManager.h] [Line: 240]
MainFrameActions: Packaging (Windows (64-bit)): UE4Editor-Cmd: Tried to get module interface for unloaded module: 'OnlineSubsystem'

Once the plugin is removed, the project is then able to be packaged.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello ,

I am a little unclear as to what plugin it is that you are using. Is this a plugin that is available by default in the Plugins section of the editor? If not, you will need to speak with the creator of the plugin for further assistance. We do not provide support for unofficial plugins.

Hello Rudy,
The plugin is provided by oculus themselves in order to interface with their online system and can be found here We figured that it would be worthwhile to ask here as well since there is a “Copyright 1998-2013 Epic Games” in the header for a lot of the online files.
Thanks for the help!

Hello ,

I would suggest contacting oculus support. If you do so, I would also request that you post a link to any sort of public ticket that is created, so that anyone in the future will be able to track the issue as well.
