How To Make Skeletal Mesh Have Physics Properly?

I want to make a skeletal mesh have physics like a static mesh would, but when I select “Simulate Physics” It doesnt have physics in game but instead flies around the map with the skeleton joints glitching out as well. How would I do this? Any help appreciated.
