Low Frame Rate in 4.12

Hello,

I am having a serious problem with 4.12. Game on which I am working is giving way too low FPS (25-30) and is not that big, complicated. I tried doing everything like deleting all programmatic assets, meshes and whatever was in level and I ended up getting 70fps.

I tried running First person shooter (4.12)and I am getting 60fps (max set to 200) (image for reference).

I’ve worked on 4.8 earlier and in that First person shooter used to give me somewhere around 85-90fps on the same machine. So this frame rate drop is engine version specific and I need to work on 4.12 only because of planar reflection and other stuff.

The part which bothers me is the first person shooter project is not giving me the same fps on my machine (and I’ve tried on other machines as well) as it used to give me in 4.8. Am I missing something engine specific which I don’t think cause I’ve read all the documentations available from 4.8 to 4.12 and nothing says specific about it.

Please help me out on this. I tried profiling but it was showing max is going in draw calls(1000) and rest were very less.

My system config is Xeon 2.9GHz, GTX 750Ti, 16GB RAM
Other Systems I’ve tried include i7, TitanX with 64GB RAM (~75FPS)
