UE4 repository is avable only to registered users, you need to tie your UE4 account to your GitHub account, instructions here:
Also note lot of guidelines tells to fork repository, if you don’t plan to send modifications you don’t need to fork, just clone ue4 repository directly, it will make updating a lot easier just by pulling new version of repo

I am trying to locate the Git repo for UE$, using the link in the UE4 dashboard, takes me to my Github page , also searching for Epic Games takes me a dead end also
any help would be greatly appriciated
Yeh just realized, I did used to be registered a while back but it seams things had changed and was no longer in there anyway re registered and sorted, thanks
