There was a recent thread posted but I couldn’t make out his material set up or why it was so complicated! I haven’t been able to find any other solutions for this problem.
I have one material that I want on the entire mesh, it is the terrain texture created using world machine. The other one I want to paint as a detail texture on the terrain.
When painting a material onto my terrain, it paints an entire grid section:
This is a known issue that we are working to track down and correct. However I can offer a bit of a workaround. When you are ready to paint, choose one of your layers and paint which should paint a big square, let the shaders compile. Choose the next layer and paint which again should paint a bug square, let the shaders compile. Repeat this process for all your layers. Once you are done with all your layers then each one should paint as you expect.
Hi, I tried what you suggested, but after a while those big blocks that I was painting on just turned into the default grey blocks and now I can’t get the normal terrain back… I guess it doesn’t work if you have more than a certain amount of layers
