How can I capture gameplay footage?

Hi!

I know matinee has a ‘Make movie’ function to export sequence as a video/image sequence.
But can I capture (record) gameplay and save it as video/image sequence?

Matinee is built-in feature in UE4. post I linked above is for capturing what player camera is seeing during play using Matinee. Is that not what you’re looking for?

I always use Acethinker Screen Recorder to capture gameplay for my channel, It is a free online tool that lets you record your screen right from browser. You just need to open you web browser and visit screen recording app, click on red button ‘Start’ to capture your gameplay.
