Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Blueprint Attachment Broken (4.11)

I've been having terrible trouble attaching a physics object to a motion control component in 4.11. The main issue stems from attachment not behaving like it should (in many cases it simply fails). I've managed to get a set up that almost works, but have discovered that it's still woefully unreliable:

In the top graph, the object is not attached as expected, it remains floating in place. When dropping it and re-enabling physics, it falls back to earth as expected.

In the bottom graph, the object does attach as expected, but dropping it and re-enabling physics does not work, leaving it to float off into space and through geometry.

I'm at my wit's end to be honest. Does anyone have a set up that actually works? I want to do something very simple, but it just isn't working like it should :/

Product Version: UE 4.11

No, that looks like a completely different issue - I suspect with your implementation.
